Tim McCabe is Executive Director for Data Warehousing in AT&T Business Solutions division. He is responsible for the development of a broad array of EDW applications that deliver Customer Centric Business Intelligence for the $40B+ (US) division of AT&T.

Following a non-traditional path to Data Warehousing, Tim brings experiences from a career spent in sales, marketing, operations and manufacturing positions both outside and inside of AT&T. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Industrial Administration.

The "Hybrid Data Warehouse"

What is the ‘Hybrid Data Warehouse’? Apart from a traditional Data Warehouse implementation that stores historical data for decision support and ‘Real Time’ Data Warehousing, the Hybrid Data Warehouse incorporates one of more OLTP applications within the Data Warehouse to enhance the corporation’s business intelligence. This presentation will provide an example of how a Hybrid Data Warehouse can serve a corporation and ultimately enhance the business intelligence provided by the EDW.
