Noel is responsible for managing a growing data warehouse and customer relationship management (CRM) solutions business, while overseeing a strong team of highly skilled consultants, sales representatives, software developers and support staff across offices in South Pacific, South East Asia and India.
Noel joined Teradata in March of 2007 as the General Manager, South Pacific Area, he has since been promoted twice, first to Vice President South Pacific, and in January 2010 to increase his area of responsibility to include South Asia and India. Prior to this he was the Area General Manager, Worldwide Customer Service for South Pacific, for NCR, Noel realigned the business and achieved a significant turnaround in margin, complete with an overall improvement in service performance, whilst re-establishing NCR’s dominant position in the ATM services market.
Noel has 25 years of IT experience, including 11 years spent in sales management with Sun Microsystems. He has also served as CEO of publicly listed company Thin Technologies; over two years as managing director of IT security professional services company, eSecure; and two years as vice president of worldwide sales for Bullant.
He commenced his career as a Telecommunications and Computing Engineer in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) prior to joining private enterprise in the Information Technology industry in 1982.
